To prevent the development of unwanted noise, impact sound vibration must be optimally dampened. As a provider of engineering services for the entire process chain - from development to automated assembly - FAIST ChemTec offers optimally adjusted car body sound deadener systems according to specific vehicle requirements.

FAIST ChemTec uses a great variety of materials for vibration dampening for vehicle bodies, dishwasher vats and all-purpose thin sheet metal, such as sheets, compounds and sandwich systems with a bitumen or plastic base. Dampening materials can also be used for additional purposes, like sheet metal reinforcement, stone chip protection, corrosion protection or sealing functions. Special absorption systems are used for the reduction of brake noise on anti-noise shims or to reduce aggregate vibrations.

Based on skills in membrane products and adhesives, FAIST ChemTec develops and delivers a wide range of special waterproofing systems for roofs, facades, windows and chimneys etc. in the construction sector. Among these are self-adhesive coatings for roof waterproofing membranes, vapour barrier membranes, basement membranes, bitumen underlayer, facades and window self-adhesive waterproffing stripes and many other applications.
