Jörg Bätjer

Born in 1956, Jörg Friedrich Bätjer has been with the HANNOVER Finanz Group since 1996. He is a fund director and an authorized officer of the company. Prior to that he had worked as a sales and marketing manager in the plastic packaging industry for six years. From 1985 to 1989 he worked in the business development section of a large industrial group, heading projects involving the development and market launch of biotechnology products, adhesive labels, engineering and industrial microwave applications. After studying economics at Penn State University (USA) and the University of Kiel (Dipl. Volkswirt, 1982), Jörg Friedrich Bätjer acquired practical experience in leasing and sales finance at Hewlett-Packard.
