Martin Walka

Born in 1967, Mag. Martin Walka has been a Manging director of HANNOVER Finanz Austria since the year 2000. He started his career at the Raiffeisen Zentralbank, as a business administration graduate, switching in 1992 to investment controlling at Beteiligungsfinanzierungs AG, a specialist finance company serving medium-sized businesses. From 1997 onwards he headed investment management as an authorized officer of the company.
From 2004 to 2006 Martin Walka has been chairman of the board of AVCO Austrian Private Equity and Venture Capital Organisation, the professional association of the Austrian venture capital industry.
