Andreas Schober (CEO)

Andreas Schober, born in 1954, joined HANNOVER Finanz in 1988. He holds his present function as member of the executive board since 1996, since 2009 as the Chairman.
He started his career in the period 1981 – 1986 in the medical technology division of Hewlett-Packard in Böblingen, Germany, and subsequently acquired practical experience of finance, logistics, distribution and industry at the French management consultants Mars & Co. in Paris. Andreas Schober holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna, a B.S.E.E. from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) from Stanford University, USA.
