HANNOVER Finance Group structure

HANNOVER Finanz GmbH is the original nucleus of the Group. Formerly performing the function of acquiring and managing holdings itself, HANNOVER Finanz nowadays operates essentially as a management company servicing the HANNOVER Finanz Group investment funds through management contracts. New holdings are now spread over all the investment funds. Nevertheless, the HANNOVER Finanz management in Hanover and Vienna is still the contact for all companies seeking equity.

HANNOVER Finanz GmbH was established in 1979 as a subsidiary of one of the major insurance companies in Germany, Haftpflichtverband der Deutschen Industrie VaG (HDI), which is now Talanx AG. Since the buy-out in 1993, the management has itself owned shares in the company and has been successful in attracting further investors.
